We are primarily a referral practice, with most patients sent to us from physicians in the various specialties. We communicate with your referring physician about you, our diagnosis, treatment and recommendations, and we make sure that you are referred back to your physician when we complete our care. Outpatients are seen in our offices, which contain the finest equipment for your comfort. Patients with conditions that require elaborate diagnostic evaluation and treatment are handled as outpatient or inpatients, with procedures performed in one of two hospitals: Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center or Chesapeake General Hospital.

The primary goal of Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater is to provide patients with the highest level of medial care in the field of gastroenterology. In addition to our training and experience, we believe that we are able to achieve high quality care in two ways.

We practice in state-of-the-art facilities. In both offices, we make certain that our patients are received and cared for in a pleasant environment by an excellent medical staff and knowledgeable, courteous personnel.

We use the facilities, staff and personnel of the two best hospitals in the Tidewater area. At these hospitals, our patients receive the superior care that they deserve and that we expect them to receive.

Although the techniques and equipment we use are modern, we strive to practice medicine the old fashioned way through compassion and good judgment, and respect for patients’ dignity.
