Patricia A. Cyrs, M.S., PA-C grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Mrs.
Cyrs graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University
in 1996, majoring in Microbiology with research in antibiotic
resistance and molecular genetics. She was awarded a Master
of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State
University in 1999.
She began working for Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater
in 2001. Her area of specialty is malabsorption disorders, such
as Celiac
Disease. She has recently been elected President of
the Celiac Disease Foundation’s local chapter, Chesapeake Tidewater
Celiac's. Her recent speaking engagements include grand rounds
for the
Chesapeake Tricare Clinic, and a talk at Brown Bag Lunches
for Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, VA.
