RN-LPN: Fulltime position with competitive benefits package
This is a position in a busy G.I. practice with eight physicians rotating through the office and endoscopy suite.
Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater utilizes an electronic medical record to manage all the doctors’ schedules, and this position involves admitting patients for office exams, scheduling tests, managing phone messages and helping the physician with patient flow to keep the physician running on time.
Alternatively, on other days it involves assisting the physician in the endoscopy suite, admitting, monitoring and discharging patients, handling pathology specimens and entering data into the computer.
This job requires someone with EMR skills , complex task management skills, ACLS and BLS training and the ability to prioritize as well as to follow instructions. You may also be asked to travel amongst the three locations.
