Walid F. Makdisi, MD
Walid F. Makdisi, M.D., Board Certified in both Internal
Medicine and Gastroenterology is a native of Beirut,
Lebanon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree and
the degree of Doctor of Medicine from the American University
of Beirut.
He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne
State University in Detroit, Michigan and a clinical
and research fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University
of Connecticut.
He held appointments as a faculty member in the division
of Gastroenterology at the University of Kansas, and
practiced in Missouri for about ten years. He joined
Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater in 2005.
