Shoba Mendu MD
Dr. Shoba Mendu, a board-certified gastroenterologist,
has joined Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater.
Dr. Mendu received her medical degree from the University
of Health Sciences Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad,
India, where she also completed an internship. She completed
an internal medicine residency program at Wayne State
University in Detroit. Dr. Mendu completed her fellowship
in gastroenterology at St. John’s Receiving Hospital
in Southfield, Mich.
Dr. Mendu is relocating from Texas where she most recently
worked as a gastroenterologist for Spring Gastroenterology
in Spring, Texas. She and her family reside in Virginia
Beach.
