What are your office hours?

Office hours are from 8:00 am to 5 pm. If you are experiencing an emergency or need immediate attention, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

How do I get an appointment?

If you would like to schedule an appointment at any of our three locations in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, or Norfolk please call our main number at (757) 547-0798. If you are having an emergency, please call 911.

What happens if I cannot keep my appointment?

Please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make your office appointment. Canceling an office appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment will result in a $25 fee.Endoscopic procedures cancellations require at least three business days before the procedure. A cancellation with less than three business days notice results in a $100 fee.

What can I expect at an office visit?

An office visit is a face-to-face consultation with one of our providers. There will be no procedure performed at the time of a regularly scheduled office visit.

What should I bring to an office visit?

For office visits please bring all your medications including over-the-counter medications, driver’s license, insurance card(s) and any recent lab work reports or x-rays. If required by your insurance, you may need to bring a referral from your primary care physician.

What can I expect at a procedure visit?

Your procedure will be performed in a fully equipped and accredited Endoscopy center, where thousands of procedures are performed every year using the most advanced endoscopic equipment with an experienced and friendly staff. For specific information about your procedure, please see our procedure section.

Please bring your co-pay. We accept most credit cards. Because you will be sedated during the procedure, please be sure to have someone available to bring you home.

What types of insurance do you accept?

We accept Medicare, most HMO’s, most PPO’s and other insurance carriers. Please check your insurance company’s provider directory to see if your physician is listed.

How do I get a refill on medications?

Prescription refill requests are taken Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to 4 pm. Requests should be made at least one week before your supply is gone.Please provide the pharmacy name, phone number, prescription number, drug name and dosage and how often you take the medication. In the near future we will be rolling out our eprescription (Electronic Prescribing program). This will allow us to get your prescriptions to the pharmacists electronically, safely, instantly but will require you to call the pharmacist directly. The pharmacy will then contact us electronically. When we start this, all refills requests will need to be called to your pharmacy.Please note that we do not refill prescriptions in the evening or on weekends.

We also cannot refill prescriptions that were originally prescribed by other physicians.
